About The Race
Quad-City Times Bix 7
2024 marks the 50th running of the Quad-City Times Bix 7. This historic out-and-back race through downtown Davenport is for runners and walkers alike. The 7-Mile course starts at the base of Brady Street Hill and is lined with live bands and cheering crowds. You will Run with the Best as elite athletes toe the line, including legends Bill Rodgers, Joan Benoit Samuelson and Meb Keflezighi. Start at the Mississippi River and finish at the Midwest’s biggest post-race-party. Race, walk or run, let’s have fun!
Prairie Farms Quick Bix
Run the Quick Bix! July 27, 2024 at 8 AM!
The Prairie Farms Quick Bix 2 mile is a fun and festive way to do the Bix. Participants start at the same time and location as the 7-mile race, all going up the famous Brady Street hill together. You decide race morning which route you want to take. Once you’re at the top of the hill, turn right to head back down to the post-race party.
Arconic Jr. Bix
Join us for the Jr Bix July 26, 2024!
Arconic’s Jr Bix is an exciting way for the whole family to be part of Bix weekend. This Friday event is geared toward crawlers to runners age 12 with various distances based on age. Each participant receives a medal, t-shirt and entrance into the festive post-race party.
The PRRO Circuit: World Class Running at America’s Classic Road Races
The Quad-City Times Bix 7 is part of the Professional Road Running Organization. PRRO is an alliance of race directors who together organize and promote the PRRO Circuit, a series of premier non-marathon road racing events.
After Bix 7 2024, the next stop on the PRRO Circuit is the Credit Union Cherry Blossom, taking place in April 2025.
