About The Race
Quad-City Times Bix 7
This historic out-and-back race through downtown Davenport is for runners and walkers alike. The 7-Mile course starts at the base of Brady Street Hill and is lined with live bands and cheering crowds. You will Run with the Best as elite athletes toe the line, including legends Bill Rodgers, Joan Benoit Samuelson and Meb Keflezighi. Start at the Mississippi River and finish at the Midwest’s biggest post-race-party. Race, walk or run, let’s have some fun!
Prairie Farms Quick Bix
The Quick Bix is a fun and festive way to do the Bix without going the full 7 miles. Participants start at the same time and location as the 7-Mile race, all going up the famous Brady Street hill together. You decide race morning which route you want to take. Once you’re at the top of the hill, turn right to head back down to the post-race party.
Arconic Jr. Bix
Arconic’s Jr Bix is an exciting way for the whole family to be part of Bix weekend. From crawlers to runners age 12, this Friday event has various distances for depending on ages. Each participant receives a medal and entrance into the festive post-race party.
Honoring our Military
To celebrate our American Pride, Bix 7 is inviting all active duty military and active duty reserve forces to enter for FREE. Complete the online entry form and enter your military ID number where indicated. You must pick up your packet in person at the Bix 7 Expo and show your military ID.
This magnificent community event owes its continuing success to the Platinum, Gold Medal and Contributing Sponsors, to the many dozens of other supporting businesses and organizations and to the thousands of individual volunteers. The Quad-City Times, Cornbelt Running Club and the entire Quad-City community deeply appreciate that dedication and generosity.
