Can’t make it to the start line race weekend?

Run the Virtual Quad-City Times Bix

Join the Virtual Quad-City Times Bix, Virtual Prairie Farms Quick Bix, or Virtual Arconic Jr Bix and run on your own schedule! The virtual race lets you complete your event at a time and location that works best for you. This year’s official Virtual Race Week runs from Saturday, July 19th, through noon on Saturday, July 26th. Run your race, your way, and be part of the Bix tradition—no matter where you are!

  1. Register online Your official race t-shirt will be mailed after July 30 to the address you provided in registration.
  2. Run or walk between the dates of Saturday, July 19th – Saturday, July 26th, 2025 at noon.
  3. Official race t-shirt will be mailed to the address you provided after July 30th.
  4. Want to switch to the In-person event? No problem! Registered participants can switch race events (Virtual to In-Person back again) as many times as you’d like without fees through June 30th.

All Virtual Race runners receive:

  • 4 FREE Iowa American Water Bix@6 training runs on a closed course with hydration support
  • Access to the MercyOne Genesis online training program
  • Anniversary pins for years:
    2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, & 50
