Arconic’s Jr Bix is a fun and exciting way for the whole family to be part of Bix weekend! This Friday event is fully inclusive, celebrating children of all abilities—from crawlers to age 12—with age-appropriate race distances. Children ages 5 and under may have one parent or guardian run with them. Children ages 6-12 will race on a secured course without an adult. Children needing race assistance due to a physical or neurological condition can participate with a Jr. Bix Buddy. Every participant receives a medal, t-shirt, and entry to the festive post-race party, making it a memorable experience for young runners and their families. Join the fun and celebrate the next generation of Bix runners!
Age Divisions, Distances & Location
Separate races will be held for each age group
Ages 5 years & under
(parents welcome to run with child)
70-yard run. Start and finish on East 3rd St. Crawlers move across a carpet square.
Ages 6-7
1/2 mile run. Start and finish on East 4th St.
Ages 8-12
7/10 mile run. Start and finish on East 4th St.
