Arconic’s Jr Bix is an exciting way for the whole family to be part of Bix weekend. This Friday event is geared toward crawlers to runners age 12 with various distances based on age. Each participant receives a medal, t-shirt and entrance into the festive post-race party.
Age Divisions, Distances & Location
Separate races will be held for each age group
Ages 5 years & under
(parents welcome to run with child)
70-yard run. Start and finish on East 3rd St. Crawlers move across a carpet square.
Ages 6-7
1/2 mile run. Start and finish on East 4th St.
Ages 8-12
7/10 mile run. Start and finish on East 4th St.

Run the Virtual Arconic Jr Bix
The virtual Arconic Jr Bix race allows your child to run their race at a time and location that works best for you. This year’s official Virtual Race week is Saturday July 19th – noon Saturday, July 26th.
- Register online Your child’s official race t-shirt & medal will be mailed after July 30 to the address you provided in registration.
- Run, walk, crawl or stroll between the dates of Saturday, July 19th – Saturday, July 26th, 2025 at noon.
- Official race t-shirt & medal will be mailed to the address you provided after July 30th.
- Want to switch to the In-person event? No problem! Registered participants can switch race events (Virtual to In-Person back again) as many times as you’d like without fees through June 30th.
